Great food but service is slow when they get busy.
Fun old building. Pickle Fries were amazing! Owners stopped by our table; personable & welcoming. Sausages were locally made and very good. German potato salad was one of the best. 1836 root beer: outstanding.
We went in about 2:30 Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't crowded. Above average bar food. Very good service. Fair prices. Catfish sandwich was awesome. Chicken dinner, chicken strips, appetizers...all good.
Husband and I ate lunch here during our 2017 Holiday Vacation. Service was excellent even though it was very busy. Great wine list. Food was good. The idea of a braut burger was fun. Too bad it was dry. The owner also runs the Historic Reiff Haus Bed & Breakfast which is a nice location.
We always come here when we are in Hermann. Great German food and super nice staff. The building is beautiful and historic, a must see!!
