Anyhoo, because these cookies aren’t very common, it can be hard to find their molds. Especially a mold of good quality. But this place has them. Not just that, but that have the largest selection we had ever seen BY FAR! Plus, the people that work here are so super sweet. Drop by for a visit!

Wonderful town. This is where we ended up watching the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Wish we had more time to explore.

A lovely grouping of preserved buildings from Hermann's early days. They represent the German heritage of the area, and proudly display German architectural styles, interior decor, and more. The gardens are attractive, and the surrounding neighborhood is pleasant. Make time for the guided tour, and be prepared for lots of historic information!

Imagine stepping back into the 19th century...this is the feeling you get when visiting this state park and Hermann, Mo.

A great place to spend a day or weekend.

Very interesting tour! Saw some things on this tour I had not seen before. The tour guide was excellent!

My mom wanted to stop here specifically because they sell Springerle molds. I wasn’t familiar with Springerle until she started baking them a few years ago. They are a German cookie. The Cookie feels similar to a shortbread, but even more dry and less sweet. It mostly commonly comes in two flavors - anise or orange. The front side of the Cookie usually has an intricate picture, frequently Christmas or religious as these are mostly commonly made in the winter. The back of the Cookie is then dipped in or painted with chocolate. These cookies require a lot of ingredients and a lot of time.
