Great food, drinks, and service! I had the Burnt Ends, Cornbread and Southwest Mac & Cheese and the cocktail of the day, the Autumn Ash. I finished it off with the whiskey flight, awesome!
The food is great and the atmosphere is awesome. The owners are wonderful people! They have their distillery on premises. I recommend anything on their menu with the beef brisket, if you are dining. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the pleasant experience.
What a great atmosphere. It’s the classy ambiance of an upscale establishment intertwined with the rich tradition of a historic building. Our party started at the tasting bar. The narrative of the distilling process was very interesting. We continued the night with dinner. The side salad was far from a ‘side’, very generous in size and so tasty. The brisket was great. We rounded out the experience by passing a couple scrumptious warm brownies with ice cream around the table. Wowza! Definitely a must do again experience!
The atmosphere is incredible. The building is beautifully renovated but preserves its traditional look on the outside. Location by the river is amazing. Staff and management very friendly and competent. My favorite drink is the Jolly Roger. Love the lighted bar and the fact that you can charge your phone while at the bar if needed! I haven't tried everything on the menu but I definitely recommend the colossal pretzel and beer cheese as well as the baked potato loaded with brisket YUM! It has a German name on the menu. Cheers :)
My friends and I were in town for Oktoberfest and found this GEM!!!!! The food was mouth-wateringly delicious, fresh and fast. We tried the BYOB and if you are looking for a great burger, this is the place! Also tried the Pretzel Sticks and the Fried Pickles. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Everything came out so fast and so quick, it was great experience. PLUS a live band.....life couldn't get any better!
A nice change of pace from your typical Herman establishment, and that is not to disparage anywhere else in the area.
